Milo (1910-1978) - after - Sculpture

Elegant and atmospheric sculpture of a mother bear with her cub, mounted on a heavy rectangular pedestal of green marble. The sculpture depicts a powerful yet warm moment between mother and cub. The bears are finely crafted with great attention to fur texture, posture and expression. The dark bronze-colored finish gives the sculpture a classical and luxurious appearance. The green marble pedestal provides a nice contrast to the dark figures and gives the whole piece a high-quality presentation. A decorative object that fits perfectly in a classic interior, study, gallery, office, or a collection of animal figures. The sculpture is signed Milo (after) on the bear's leg.
