MINI 1000 1986 GENERAL: This stunning Mini 1000 was new in Belgium on 18 April 1986. In 2017 the car was imported into the Netherlands. It is a classic in excellent condition, both mechanically and visually, and has been fully restored. The car is intended for someone who wants to drive carefree and enjoy themselves, without having to tinker right away. The Mini is ready for years of driving pleasure. CAR BODY & PAINTWORK: During the restoration the Mini was repainted in a fresh, bright red color, combined with a white roof. The alloy wheels were also painted white, giving the whole a sporty look. The bodywork has been fully overhauled and the front and rear subframes have been replaced. The paint is in excellent condition, and the car is equipped with a sporty stainless steel exhaust that enhances the sporty appearance. MECHANICAL: The Mini underwent a very thorough mechanical overhaul. The engine has been rebuilt and fitted with a cylinder head with stainless steel valve seats and valves, suitable for unleaded gasoline. The gearbox has also been rebuilt. In addition, the entire braking system was renewed and the suspension is equipped with nylon bushings. All systems work perfectly, and no faults are known. All lighting and switches function as they should. INTERIOR: The interior was reupholstered during the restoration. The headlining and floor mats have been renewed. The door panels, front seats and rear bench are made in genuine leather, in a stylish two-tone combination. The overall look is tidy and luxurious. Everything inside is clean, fresh and in working order. DOCUMENTS: Extensive documentation and photographic material from the restoration are available. These can be viewed on request. The car is currently registered in the Netherlands. When selling outside the Netherlands, the required export documents can be arranged. PICK-UP: Viewing and test drive are possible by appointment via Catawiki. This is highly recommended before placing a bid. Transport is possible by arrangement. OTHER INFORMATION: This Mini is fully restored and does not require immediate attention or maintenance. It is an excellent opportunity for enthusiasts who want to enjoy a classic without worries.
