MiniChamps 1:18 - Model race car - Panasonic Jaguar...

A distinctive 1:18 scale model of the Panasonic Jaguar Racing I-TYPE 3 from Formula E Season 5, driven by New Zealand driver Mitch Evans. Minichamps has beautifully and in detail captured the futuristic shape and the characteristic Panasonic Jaguar Racing livery. This I-TYPE 3 represents an important chapter in Jaguar’s racing history. At the Rome E-Prix in 2019, Mitch Evans secured Jaguar’s first victory in Formula E. This also marked the brand’s first international win since 1991. Season 5 was also notable for the introduction of the completely new Gen2 Formula E car. Thanks to greatly improved battery capacity, drivers could now complete an entire race with a single car. The famous mid-race car swap disappeared as a result. Mitch Evans subsequently grew into one of the most important drivers within Jaguar’s Formula E program. The combination of Jaguar’s racing heritage, Gen2 technology, and a historic victory makes this model interesting for collectors of modern race cars and Formula E models.
