Mirror - Cigarettes American Blends - mirror painting

Rare 1985 collectible mirror with iconic 1950s Americana iconography. This high-quality piece was produced by the renowned TBK series (dated specifically January 1985: 1/1985/17) and perfectly captures the essence of New York nostalgia with a pronounced Mid-Century Modern flair. Design and Aesthetics: The piece features an artistic silkscreen showing a classic Pin-up girl in a gold dress, a vibrant yellow classic car (mid-century cruiser style), and the stylized typography "N.Y.C. American Blend." It is a Pop Art piece that combines retro graphic design with New York industrial style. Condition: The item is in exceptional condition for its age (41 years). • Glass: Impeccable, with no cracks, moisture stains, or deep scratches. • Silkscreen: Colors remain vibrant and well preserved, with no paint loss. • Frame: Retains its original chrome-plated metal frame and the rigid cardboard back with its original mounting clips. Dimensions: 42 cm x 31 cm (approx.). The illustration highlights a spectacular Empire Yellow luxury sedan, capturing the Streamline Moderne essence of the 1950s. With its aerodynamic lines and chrome details, the design evokes the great General Motors icons: the elegance of a Cadillac Series 62, the bearing of a Pontiac Chieftain, or a Buick Roadmaster (with its characteristic VentiPorts). This iconography reinforces the Americana character and high-end nature of this piece. Note for collectors: Unlike the more common advertising mirrors from beer or whiskey brands that flood the market, this specific design of "American Blend" is a rare piece much harder to find, making it an excellent decorative investment. Being precisely dated to 1985, it is a highly nostalgic item for collectors born in that year or for those seeking authentic 80s pieces. Ideal for decorating a Man Cave, an industrial-style loft, barber shops, or themed bars that seek a touch of distinction and vintage authenticity. Fast and secure shipping with reinforced professional packaging guaranteed.
