All auctions / Contemporary Art / MISS RAT (1981) - Yayoi Kusama et Banksy rat - TRIBUTE
Rare on Catawiki Original work by the Franco-Spanish artist MISS RAT, spray stencil on canvas 50x50 cm, acrylic painting, a tribute to Banksy and Kusama. Shipped within 48 hours, well protected Hand-signed. MISS RAT Miss Rat is an urban artist who cultivates mystery by refusing to reveal her face. Always hidden behind her emblematic rat mask, she makes anonymity a true artistic signature. Inspired by Banksy, Blek le Rat and Miss Tic, she reworks posters, images and everyday objects to create poetic, provocative, and decidedly urban works. Recovered posters, reclaimed materials, stencils and graphic interventions become the supports of a universe where the rat symbolizes freedom, resourcefulness and the hidden life of cities. Between street art and contemporary appropriation, Miss Rat establishes a visually immediately recognizable identity: an invisible face, a rat mask and works that make people stop and think.
