A commanding and beautifully preserved pottery bottle of classic Caddo form, defined by its broad globular body and short, upright neck rising with quiet authority. The surface is left largely unadorned, its subtle fire clouds and variegated tones of buff, gray, and deep charcoal bearing witness to the kiln atmosphere and the hand of the maker. This restrained aesthetic reflects a tradition in which form and finish carried as much meaning as applied decoration, emphasizing balance, volume, and tactile presence.
