Mobach - Vase - Authentic Hand-formed Mobach Vase –...

authentic vintage ceramic design vase from the renowned Dutch studio Mobach (Utrecht). This hand-formed vase dates from the studio's flowering period, circa 1965–1975, and is a beautiful example of mid-century modern and Brutalist Dutch pottery. The vase is finished in a characteristic, deep oxblood-red/brown glaze with the rough, grainy texture that is so characteristic of Mobach. Unique details for the collector: • 100% Authentic: On the underside is clearly visible the original, hand-engraved signature "Mobach". • Rare time document: Featuring the original paper shop sticker of "Kunsthandel Mobach – Oude Gracht 198 Utrecht". Because the shop moved from Oudegracht in 1975, this object can be dated precisely and is especially prized by collectors. • Condition: The vase is in absolute top condition. The piece is pristine, with no chips, no cracks and no hairlines. Specifications: • Provenance: Mobach Keramiek, Utrecht (Netherlands) • Period: 1960s / early 1970s • Style: Mid-Century Modern / Brutalism / Atelier Ceramic • Material: Stoneware / Earthenware A beautiful collectible or a stylish focal point for a modern, vintage or industrial interior.
