Mexican silver-tone convertible pendant and brooch featuring a hand-carved black obsidian mask. The mask is set within a stylized frame with scrollwork accents and two suspended spatulate drops. The piece is paired with a silver omega-style collar chain. The reverse of the pendant is impressed with the word MEXICO. The chain is fitted with a lobster claw clasp stamped 925. One end cap is marked ITALY within a rectangular frame, and the opposite cap is marked with the characters AGI. XRF Tested - not sterling, the necklace bears a "925" stamp, both pieces have been scientifically tested and are not standard sterling silver.
