Modernist Diamond Ring in White Gold, Pforzheim, c. 1970

This stylish vintage ring made from fine white gold looks like a sparkling architecture of glittering diamonds. This beautiful piece was created around 1970 for the Pforzheim jewelry wholesaler Siebler & Rothfuß. At this time, geometric and shiny white, crystalline designs were all the rage. This powerfully designed ring head is also typical of the time. It consists of a total of three staggered bands. Fine diamonds are lined up on them, creating a magnificent picture of pure light. On the middle band, five brilliant-cut diamonds are framed by five octagonal diamonds above and below. The gemstones have a total weight of around one carat. They are held in place by lattice-shaped bars and appear to float on the stepped ring head. The ring is a very classic piece of jewelry that can also be perfectly combined.
