Monaci Francescani - Antifonario

We are offering an original bifolio - 4 pages - extracted from a very ancient antiphonary presumably belonging to an old cathedral. The work from which this page is taken was printed around 1600, and unfortunately only a very small number of sheets could be recovered, as the others were lost and unrecoverable due to a flood. The pages proposed here feature some finely colored initials printed in red ink at the time of printing and a divine initial engraved with a burin and richly decorated. Dimensions: 60 x 45 cm (open sheet) Please view the many photos included, which are an integral part of this description. Worldwide shipping is possible by courier in a rigid tubular packaging designed to preserve the item.
