The composition brings together three stylized sails sailing lined up to the left, whose slender sails and hulls in beige, cream and golden highlights create an impressive luminous contrast against the dark background. Through firm vertical brushstrokes and a dynamic application of the paint —possibly worked with a spatula— the artist manages to capture the fluid movement of the water and the vivid geometric reflections of the vessels on the surface of the sea, conveying a deep sense of elegance, strength and serenity.
