The Montblanc No. 24 is a classic piston-filling fountain pen from the 1960s and one of the larger models in Montblanc’s two-digit series. It features a resin body, a push-on cap with double cap bands, a distinctive blue faceted ink window and a partially hooded 14K gold “butterfly” nib. The integrated piston mechanism provides a generous ink capacity, while the elongated proportions give the No. 24 a more substantial presence than the smaller No. 22. With its characteristic wing-style gold nib, blue ink window and clean post-war design, the No. 24 is a particularly recognizable example of Montblanc’s 1960s fountain pens. fountainpennetwork.com The pen is in burgundy colour. It is in excellent, pre-owned condition, and is carefully cleaned. Imperfections: light scratches.
