Montblanc - Boheme Bleu (Platinum Line - Mechanical Pencil) - Mechanical pencil

A0000005308 We put up for auction the most absolute, compact, and commented object of desire in contemporary high-end writing collecting: the Montblanc Boheme Bleu mechanical pencil, in its most elegant, magnetic, and avant-garde variant crafted in black precious resin with-platinum accents and a synthetic blue sapphire gem faceted at the end of the clip. This historic piece represents one of the boldest, most complex, and celebrated design twists from the Hamburg firm, completely breaking with the traditional proportions of the classic Meisterstück to offer a writing instrument with a short profile but extraordinary thickness, packaging, and visual impact. The design of this mechanical pencil made in Germany is a display of high-fidelity aesthetics and executive ergonomics: its body measures extremely compact dimensions of 11.4 cm in length with a generous thickness of 1.3 cm, offering unbeatable balance and hand settling. It is built in Montblanc’s famous precious resins, offering a deep black optical-quality polish that cleanly contrasts with the three rings finished in platinum where the brand name is embossed in relief. The set is crowned with the historic white star emblem of Montblanc embedded at the head and a platinated front section with pure lines. Its precise twist mechanism for advancing and retracting the lead operates with millimeter precision, turning a pocket piece into a sophisticated urban-tech instrument. On the upper ring of the clip lies the individual serial number CY1118283 engraved alongside the Germany authenticity hallmark on the reverse, certifying its direct origin from the brand’s high-manufacture workshops. A milestone of luxury industrial design destined for the most demanding users and collectors. Condition: Collector’s Quality / Excellent The aesthetic, cosmetic, and mechanical condition of this piece is Excellent / Mint Condition: Body and Cap in Resin: The black precious resin body preserves its original mirror-bright polish, completely free of cracks, deep scratches, or signs of heavy use. The black color maintains its depth without decoloration. Platinum Details and Gem: All platinum elements of the rings, nib, and clip retain their original finish intact, with no wear or loss of shine. The synthetic sapphire is perfectly set, clean, faceted, and free of rubs or micro-damages. Lead-Advancing Mechanism: The rotating system for lead advance and retraction operates with absolute smoothness, the internal adjustment threads are clean, and the mechanism responds with the exact precision of German engineering. Curious Fact for the Collector For appraisers and Catawiki experts, the Boheme line has become one of the most sought-after and value-enhanced Montblanc series since the brand decided to cease production, instantly transforming it into a cult discontinued collection. Within the Boheme series, technical pieces like mechanical pencils are significantly rarer on the auction market than traditional pen versions, as their production was much lower. The color contrast between the platinum accents, the optical black of the resin, and the pure blue of the clip gem makes this piece a safe investment with a wild bidding ratio in international auctions. Wishing you the best of luck in your bids and an excellent auction to all Catawiki participants!
