We are presenting at auction an authentic masterpiece of elegance and compact design signed Montblanc: the exclusive fountain pen from the famous Bohème line in the refined Platinum Line version. This collection represents one of the highest pinnacles of Hamburg craftsmanship, combining the classic charm of precious materials with mechanical and formal solutions unique in the world. The barrel and cap of the instrument are made of premium black glossy resin of the very highest quality, featuring a slender, rounded silhouette that offers perfect balance. The aesthetics are masterfully enhanced by bright platinum finishes, among which the elegant clip stands out (adorned with a small stone set) and the decorative rings engraved with the brand lettering. The most iconic and distinctive element of the Bohème line is hidden in the mechanism: by unscrewing the base, a clever rotating mechanism is activated that makes the magnificent retractable nib in solid gold (usually 14K) emerge, embellished with delicate engravings and perfectly cleaned together with its feed, as highlighted by the close-up photographic details. At the top of the cap rises the unmistakable Montblanc white star. The condition of this specimen is absolutely exceptional, effectively classifiable as in excellent condition. The black resin appears bright, deep and free of structural defects, while the platinum parts maintain a mirrored and perfect shine. In line with our strict policy of total transparency, only microscopic and physiological superficial signs resulting from extremely careful handling are noted, which in no way affect the aesthetic integrity or the perfect functioning of the concealed mechanism.
