In this listing we present an authentic jewel of Montblanc craftsmanship, renowned for its compact design and timeless elegance: the Montblanc Bohème Rouge Gold Line Fountain Pen (model with a fixed nib). This model stands out for its unmistakable silhouette, crafted in deep black precious resin, cleverly contrasted with bright yellow-gold plated finishes. What makes this line unique and instantly recognizable is the cap clip, adorned with a sparkling red ruby-colored synthetic stone. At the top of the cap sits the immovable emblem of the white star, a symbol of artisanal excellence. Distinctive note: On the side of the cap is a stylish personalized cursive engraving with the initials "F A", a detail that gives the instrument a unique and historic character. The beating heart of this writing instrument is the magnificent two-tone nib in solid 14-karat gold (Au585), hand-worked. The nib is finely decorated with intricate arabesque motifs and bears the iconic engraving "4810". This exemplar features a fixed nib, which gives the pen a clean, classic line, guaranteeing an immediate and balanced writing experience. The feed is exclusively cartridge-based, designed to ensure maximum practicality and cleanliness in every situation. The overall condition of the item is to be considered good, structurally intact and fully functional, while honestly describing the following aesthetic defects due to age and use. The black resin shows several scratches and superficial wear marks. The most significant issues are on the gold-plated metal finishes: the ring located at the base of the writing assembly (directly under the nib) shows marked corrosion. The large central rings of the cap and the clip ring bearing the serial number also display scratches and slight wear of the gilding. The solid gold nib assembly, however, remains intact and ready for use.
