Montblanc - Donation Pen "Yehudi Menuhin" Special Edition - Pen

We are presenting at auction an authentic gem for collectors and music enthusiasts signed Montblanc: the prestigious Meisterstück ballpoint pen "Yehudi Menuhin" (ID 03778), part of the famous commemorative collection "Donation Pen" (Special Edition). This magnificent writing instrument is a tribute to the legendary violinist and conductor, marrying the artisanal excellence of the German house with thematic details of unparalleled charm. The body and cap are masterfully crafted in Montblanc’s classic black precious resin, elegantly contrasted by rich gold-plated finishes. The distinguishing and most valuable element of this special edition is the extraordinary clip, finely sculpted in the shape of a violin’s neck and scroll. The wide golden ring at the base of the cap is also embellished with the engraving of Yehudi Menuhin’s original signature, thus celebrating the legacy of the great Maestro. On the top, the iconic six-point white star is present. In keeping with our usual and strict policy of total transparency, two specific features are noted for this lot: - The presence of a delicate personalized engraving with the initials "M.D.P." (executed in an elegant cursive typeface), positioned on the cap next to the clip. - An evident localized mark/graffito on the resin of the cap, placed exactly against the upper golden ring of the clip (clearly documented and highlighted in the enlarged photograph provided in the gallery). Net of this aesthetic detail, the condition of this exemplar is to be considered in excellent overall condition. The resin appears glossy and solid, the gilding is bright, and the twist mechanism is fluid and perfectly functional. The photographs showing the instrument disassembled confirm the perfect integrity of the original internal components and the presence of the ink refill (cartridge) properly housed. To further enhance and complete this exceptional lot, the pen is offered with its original Montblanc presentation box. An unmissable opportunity to enrich one’s collection with a piece of great historical and artistic value, described with honesty and ready to write a new page of history.
