Scott Fitzgerald and to the Jazz Age of the 1920s. • Body and cap: Made from high-quality resin in dark blue and black. The distinctive surface texture, with its vertical lines, evokes the illuminated façades of New York skyscrapers at night. • Clip: The platinum-plated clip is modeled after a bill clip and symbolizes the apparent power of money in the novel. • Monogram: In the upper area of the clip there is an oval opening in which the gold-colored, geometrical monogram “JG” for Jay Gatsby in the Art Deco style can be seen. • Cap head: The famous Montblanc emblem consists of luminescent resin that glows green in the dark.
