Montblanc - Meisterstück 75th Anniversary Limited Edition...

A0000005767 ROLLERBALL MONTBLANC MEISTERSTÜCK 75TH ANNIVERSARY "LIMITED EDITION 1924" SOLE SOLITAIRE DOUE (GERMANY, 1999): We present at auction one of the rarest and most coveted pieces of the 75th anniversary celebration of the Meisterstück line. While most units of this edition were manufactured in resin, this unit corresponds to the exclusivist "Solitaire Doué" variant, of which only 1,924 units were produced worldwide (this being number 1156). This masterpiece of jewelry-making masterfully combines the noblest materials: Sterling Silver (Ag 925): Its heavy and dazzling cap is forged in solid silver, beautifully guilloché with a vertical line pattern that plays with the light in a hypnotic way. Includes the corresponding hallmarks and jewelry contrasts. Rose Gold and Diamond: Contrasting with the silver and black resin of the body, all fittings are coated in an unusual and warm Rose Gold. The upper ring, bearing the inscription "75 YEARS OF PASSION AND SOUL", houses a beautiful genuine brilliant-cut diamond set in the letter "O". Mother-of-Pewter Pearl: Crowned over the silver cap, the mythical Montblanc emblem is finely sculpted in natural Mother-of-Pearl (Nacre), an exclusive detail of this edition limited to 1924 units. Condition Report (Expert Review) Collectors are asked to carefully study the extensive photo gallery. The rollerball is in magnificent collectible condition: Silver and Resin: The Ag925 silver cap shows no dents or scratches; the natural patina of the silver has remained pristine, displaying only micro-scratches ("hairs") on the surface. The resin body maintains its deep shine. Gems and Engravings: The diamond, the nacre star, and the silver contrasts are in perfect condition. Mechanics: The cap sits firmly. (Note: The writing instrument is delivered as shown, without original case or documentation. It may require a new roller replacement for immediate use). Shipping The item will be carefully shipped, with highly insured shipping due to its collectible value and international tracking number. A very great opportunity for the most discerning collectors to acquire the extremely rare Solitaire silver variant of this legendary commemorative edition! Best of luck to all bidders!
