Montblanc - Meisterstück 75th Anniversary Limited Edition...

A0000005767 ROLLERBALL Montblanc MEISTERSTÜCK 75th ANNIVERSARY "LIMITED EDITION 1924" SOLITAIRE DOUÉ (GERMANY, 1999): We present to auction one of the rarest and most coveted pieces of the 75th anniversary celebration of the Meisterstück line. While most units of this edition were made in resin, this unit belongs to the exclusivest variation "Solitaire Doué", of which only 1,924 units were produced worldwide (this being number 1156). This masterpiece of jewelled craftsmanship masterfully combines the noblest materials: Sterling Silver (Ag 925): Its heavy and dazzling cap is forged in solid silver, beautifully guilloché with a vertical line pattern that plays with light in a hypnotic way. Includes the corresponding hallmarks and jewellery contrasts. Rose Gold and Diamond: In contrast with the silver and black resin of the body, all fittings are coated in an unusual and warm Rose Gold. The upper ring, bearing the inscription "75 YEARS OF PASSION AND SOUL", houses a beautiful genuine brilliant-cut diamond set in the letter "O". Mother-of-P pearl: Crowned atop the silver cap, the mythical Montblanc emblem is finely sculpted in natural mother-of-pearl, an exclusive detail of this limit to 1924 units. Condition (Expert Review) Payers are requested to carefully study the extensive photo gallery. The Rollerball is in magnificent collection-condition: Silver and Resin: The Ag925 silver cap shows no dents or impacts; the natural patina of the silver remains immaculate, displaying only micro-scratches ("hairs") on the surface. The resin body retains its rich depth of shine. Gems and Engravings: The diamond, the mother-of-pearl star and the silver contrasts are in perfect condition. Mechanics: The cap seats firmly. (Note: The writing instrument is delivered as shown, without original case or documentation. A new Roller replacement may be required for immediate use). Shipping The item will be shipped carefully protected, with highly insured shipping due to its collectible value and international tracking number. A tremendous opportunity for the most discerning collectors to acquire the very rare Solitaire variant in Silver of this mythical commemorative edition! Best of luck to all bidders!
