We are auctioning an authentic icon of timeless elegance: the Montblanc Meisterstück Classique mechanical pencil (model 165), distinguished by a refined combination of black resin and gold details. This sophisticated writing instrument perfectly embodies the essence of the renowned German maison, offering a design with universal appeal and uncompromising mechanical reliability, ideal for accompanying your notes or drawings with maximum precision. The body and cap are masterfully crafted in Montblanc's famous black precious resin, whose smooth, deeply glossy surface creates a magnificent and luxurious contrast with the bright solid-metal details, entirely and finely plated in yellow gold. The aesthetic is defined by the classic elegance of the slender clip and the three unmistakable gold rings, the central, thicker one bearing the clear engraving of the brand name. At the rounded summit of the cap stands the white six-pointed star, a universal symbol of prestige and craftsmanship. On the upper ring of the clip the individual serial number is regularly engraved. Technically, this prestigious example is configured as a continuously retractable pencil, a smooth and precise mechanism actuated by the classic rotation of the cap, designed to accommodate leads with a thin and elegant line. Photographs showing the pencil disassembled reveal the perfect integrity of the solid internal metal structure, the cleanliness of the ink reservoir group, and the presence of the small eraser, housed under the cap. The overall condition of this fascinating instrument is to be considered excellent. The precious resin appears magnificently glossy and free of deep scratches, showing only microscopic and normal surface signs due to everyday careful handling. The sparkling gold finishes are bright and perfectly preserved, without oxidations or evident wear.
