Here we present a work of writing art that transcends luxury to become a spokesperson for a noble cause: the Montblanc Meisterstück LeGrand "Signature for Good" Special Edition UNICEF 2009 ballpoint pen. This model, identified by reference 105606, represents one of the most iconic and sought-after collaborations between the Hamburg maison and the United Nations organization, created to actively support global literacy programs. The LeGrand series, with its imposing proportions and its sculptural presence superior to the Classique version, confirms itself as the preferred choice for the professional seeking a writing instrument that is authoritative, balanced, and rich with deep symbolic meaning. The design of this special edition is a tribute to peace and wisdom, elements masterfully evoked in every decorative detail. The cap crown, entirely gold-plated, is finely engraved with a laurel motif of olive branches, a universal emblem of concord that enfolds the iconic Montblanc white star. The focal point of the pen is the precious natural blue sapphire set atop the clip, a gem of rare purity that echoes UNICEF’s institutional color and gives the instrument a sophisticated light reflection. The body, made of polished black resin, creates a regal contrast with the rich gold finishes, maintaining the legendary aesthetics of the Meisterstück line while elevating it to a unique collector’s piece. The offered specimen is in excellent condition, almost indistinguishable from new, testament to meticulous care and extremely sporadic use. The resin shows no signs of wear or micro-scratches, and the gold plating retains its original mirrored brilliance across the entire surface, from the three central rings to the conical tip. The rotating mechanism for extracting the refill is smooth, precise, and perfectly snappy, ensuring the elite writing experience expected from a LeGrand. The presence of the original Montblanc box completes the lot, representing a fundamental element that guarantees its integrity and solidifies its value in the high-end collector market. Acquiring this reference 105606 in 2026 means owning a fragment of modern philanthropy history, a tool that communicates not only the prestige of its holder but also their ideal participation in a major global educational project.
