Montblanc - Meisterstück Solitaire Platinum-Plated Classique No

A0000004960 The fountain pen is presented in very good overall condition, displaying an elegant and refined aesthetic typical of the Montblanc Meisterstück Solitaire Platinum-Plated Classique No. 144 line. The platinum finish retains a strong, uniform shine, with excellent visual presence and clean reflections across the entire surface. Only extremely light micro-scratches resulting from normal use and handling are observed, visible under certain lighting conditions and fully consistent with a piece that has been carefully preserved. The engravings on the cap ring remain sharp and clearly defined. The original Montblanc nib, solid 18K two-tone gold, is in excellent condition, properly aligned, and free of deformations, offering a smooth, precise, and balanced writing experience. The “F” mark on the lower part of the body corresponds to the Fine nib rating, indicating a factory-original fine writing line. The feed and the writing system have been checked and tested to ensure optimal function before sale. The clip maintains appropriate tension, and the Montblanc emblem on the cap presents a clean, well-preserved appearance. Includes its original Montblanc box, a feature especially appreciated by collectors and users, increasing the appeal and market value of the set. Overall, this is an elegant Montblanc fountain pen, fully functional and very well preserved, ideal for both high-level daily use and collection. Conservation recommendations Use high-quality fountain pen inks and avoid pigmented inks. Clean periodically with lukewarm water if not used for a period. Dry completely before storing. Keep in a dry place, away from direct sun exposure and extreme temperatures. Operate the filling system and cap the pen gently to preserve the mechanism and the finishes.
