Montblanc - Starwalker - Fountain pen

A0000004682 The pen is presented in very good overall condition, notable for excellent maintenance both aesthetically and functionally. The body in black precious resin retains a deep, uniform shine, with no cracks or structural damage, showing only light micro-scratches consistent with careful and infrequent use. The cap maintains a firm and precise fit, with the platinum-plated clip in good condition, without deformations and with an appropriate level of tension. The metal details preserve their original finish, showing only minimal signs of handling virtually imperceptible at a glance. The textured grip section shows very mild wear, maintaining its anti-slip character and providing excellent ergonomics in use. This type of finish usually evidence use more than other surfaces, but in this case it is in very satisfactory condition. The 14K gold nib (Au585) is in good structural condition, with no visible deformations, correct alignment and preserving its ability to write smoothly and fluidly. The feed system functions properly, guaranteeing a constant ink flow. The piece has been inspected and serviced, ensuring its correct operation for immediate use. Overall, this is a well-preserved fountain pen, with normal signs of use but fully maintaining its aesthetic and functional qualities, ideal for everyday use as well as for collection within the contemporary StarWalker line. Conservation recommendations It is recommended to use inks of specific quality for fountain pens, avoiding pigmented inks. In case of prolonged non-use, clean with warm water, dry completely before storing, and keep in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures. Operate the filling system gently to preserve its proper function. It will be shipped in a courtesy box for proper preservation. Happy bidding!
