Moorcroft by Sally Tuffin Large Lidded Jar, HMS Sirius First Fleet 1788-1988

Limited edition large earthenware jar with cover in the H.M.S. Sirius pattern, produced for the 1988 Australian Bicentenary. The vessel features tube-lined maritime motifs including tall ships on stylized waves, seagulls at the neck, and clouds on the lid. Finished in a high-gloss glaze. Markings on the base include impressed Moorcroft and Made in England stamps, inscribed The First Fleet 1788-1988, S.T. DES., limited edition number 16/25, and a hand-painted WM monogram.
