Moroccan Beni Ouarain Runner Rug – Blue Hand-Knotted Wool...

A contemporary Moroccan Beni Ouarain runner with a monochrome petrol-blue finish and a sculptural diamond design. The traditional Berber lozenge pattern is formed with raised lines rather than contrasting colors. This high-and-low texture gives the surface depth and allows the geometric motif to appear differently according to the light and viewing angle. Entirely hand-knotted from natural sheep’s wool, the rug offers a soft, dense pile and a comfortable feel underfoot. Its elegant blue-grey tone creates a modern interpretation of classic Atlas Mountain weaving. The long and narrow format is ideal for a hallway, entrance, dressing room, bedside area or behind a sofa. It also works well in contemporary, minimalist, Scandinavian and bohemian interiors.
