Moroccan Berber Rug – Mrirt – Hand-Knotted Wool –...

Exceptional contemporary Moroccan Mrirt rug, entirely hand-knotted by skilled artisans in the Middle Atlas region of Morocco. This unique piece features a deep blue background combined with warm terracotta and natural ivory details. Its bold abstract composition creates an almost landscape-like effect, giving the rug a strong decorative and artistic character. The irregular geometric motifs and contrasting colours make this rug particularly suitable for contemporary, modernist, eclectic or Mediterranean interiors. Mrirt rugs are among the most refined Moroccan Berber rugs, renowned for their dense hand-knotting, high-quality wool and exceptionally soft, thick pile. Made from 100% natural sheep wool, the rug has been carefully washed after weaving to achieve a clean, soft and luxurious finish.
