Framed mirror and customized frame by Mr Brainwash. The artist Mr. Brainwash, also known as Thierry Guetta, is influenced by the work of many artists, including Charlie Chaplin. Mr. Brainwash is famous for his urban pop art style, which combines elements of street art, pop art and contemporary art. He often uses popular icons and cultural symbols to create visually striking and provocative works. Mr. Brainwash's works are smart investments, see article: https://www.catawiki.com/fr/stories/323-pourquoi-les-oeuvres-de-mr-brainwash-sont-elles-des-investissements-intelligents For this work, urban art enters a classic frame. This composition plays on the contrast between the opulence of a gilded frame and the spontaneity of street art. Multicolored paint splashes break the rigidity of the carved wood. In the center, an optimistic message appears in cursive letters. The text stands out on a mirror, giving the impression of fog on the mirror and that the artist has written his famous motto with his finger: Life is beautiful. The artist uses mixed media to create relief and depth. The use of acrylic brings a graphic precision typical of pop art. Stylized hearts punctuate the phrase, reinforcing the benevolent dimension of the image. The whole piece converses with the heritage of the great masters while asserting a contemporary aesthetic. This piece, created in 2026, fuses the codes of the gallery with those of the street. The visual rendering rests on the balance between the luxury of the frame and the raw energy of the paint splashes."
