Beautiful decorative mirror in Venetian style (Italy), dating from the mid-20th century (Mid-Century). Although it bears the classic silhouette of a handheld vanity mirror, it is designed to be hung on the wall thanks to its rear mount. Materials and design: The support consists of a light wood panel dressed with molded clear glass elements and fixed by metal rods. Ornaments: The frame and handle are richly decorated with festooned motifs, small star-shaped cabochons, and three superb raised flowers with a lattice pattern on the petals. The craftsmanship is evident in the use of drawn, molded, and hand-applied glass on a wooden structure, a traditional technique carried out by Italian master glassmakers.
