All auctions / Ethnographical / MUSEUM QUALITY- Achondrite Meteorite (HED) Fusion crust...
Extraordinary and spectacular HED-type meteorite (Howardites-Eucrites-Diogenites), presenting a dark crust with a glassy, spectacular appearance, in which perfectly marked flow lines stand out and are visible in relief, looking spectacular. The fusion crust covers around 70% of the meteorite, representing the molten material as the meteorite passed through the atmosphere, and is one of the features most appreciated by collectors. The very dark black color indicates it is a specimen that has fallen recently, something that undoubtedly greatly increases its aesthetic and scientific value. It was recently found in the Sahara Desert, in 2026. Thanks to studies, it has been confirmed that HED meteorites (Howardites, Eucrites, and Diogenites) originate from asteroid Vesta, so they are differentiated rocky meteorites, i.e., achondrites. The meteorite of this batch has a quality and size worthy of a great collection or museum. Rarely are specimens of this quality seen on the market. Don’t miss the opportunity. We are members of the leading international associations related to meteorites, therefore we guarantee for life the authenticity of all our meteorites and jewelry made from this material. Buy with guarantees. - Members of IMCA with number #7412 (International Meteorite Collectors Association) - Members of GMA with number #G0095 (Global Meteorites Association) - Members of The Meteoritical Society with number #6667 Regards and our best wishes.
