Music box - 1970-1980

Splendid Christmas music box, very rare in green color, animated scenery, toy chest shape with painted decorations on the top: Carousel horse and children, the chest opens to reveal a winter Christmas scene with a carousel or seat where Father Christmas sits on his sleigh and his reindeer, the carousel turns. On the sides you can see children and Father Christmas on reins swaying. The top interior's crepe fabric forms a small secret pocket, there is a winder underneath to operate the music box singing 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas'. Very rare unlike its sister which is red and sings Silent Night, Holy Night; indeed this green model was produced only in small quantities and was quickly abandoned in favor of the red model.
