Spectacular conularia, Eoconularia. Conulariids are an extinct group of animals related to corals and jellyfish (Phylum Cnidaria) known from fossils from the base of the Paleozoic to the Late Triassic. They are known almost exclusively by their hard external skeletons (also called theca), which were pyramidal in shape and composed of numerous lamellae. This enigmatic animal is perfectly preserved. This specimen preserves with great detail the animal's features and presents all of its parts complete. This specimen is extremely rare, completely complete down to the apex of attachment. The contrast of the fossil with the matrix is spectacular. The extraordinary preservation of the fossil allows observing in meticulous detail the delicate structures of this enigmatic animal.
