Bronze Signed CB 3/5 1965 Foundry stamp E Pettersson Fud H 12cm L 21 cm 110 000 SEK The original monumantal sculpture in black diabase "Nådens Skålar II Bowls of Grace" was inaugurated at Saint Petri church in Klippan, Sweden on the church's tenth anniversary in 1976, the same day as the sculptor's death. The sculpture was supposed to stand under a jet of water and the bowls were to be filled with water. When one bowl was full, the sculpture tilted and the other bowl came into position to be filled. The upturned bowl: "We receive God's grace" and the downturned bowl: "We pass on to people what we have received from God" The Sculpture was originally placed in 1967 at Nybroplan in Stockholm.
