Intense early 20th-century work, oil on board. At the bottom right there is a signature, date, and a name that probably identifies the person portrayed. The author, the versatile artist Natale Attanasio, born in Catania, a Neapolitan by choice, with painting studies and influences - he was a pupil of Domenico Morelli - and Roman, in the years that followed and until the end of his days, also distinguished himself as an excellent portraitist. Measurement of the painting alone: 32 cm x 19 cm. The frame should be considered graciously offered. On the back, as in the photo, there is a pleasant sketch by the same author. The work is generally in good condition but shows small signs of wear. Attention: delivery only within the EU
