National Commercial Bank of Scotland, specimen £100, 1 June 1967, serial number A000000, Alexander signature, red SPECIMEN overprints and De La Rue ovals on obverse and reverse, single cancellation hole, specimen number 005, three folds across body of note, limited evidence of other handling, very minor mounting traces on reverse, good paper and strong embossing, extremely fine, a very rare specimen for what is assumed to be a completely unobtainable banknote in issued form, this being the considerably rarer 1967 date, a lovely note PMS NC 13s, Pick 275B £500-£700.
