Natural fossilized wood ball – Rare petrification with warm

This exceptional sphere of petrified wood presents itself with an impressive combination of reddish, caramel-colored and cream-white tones that sweep like organic growth rings across the polished surface. The vibrant texture still clearly recalls the ancient wood grain, making the connection between mineral transformation and original plant material wonderfully visible. The warm red and ochre zones seem to glow from within, while lighter, almost milky areas create a gentle depth. Included structures and natural lines tell the story of a tree that over millions of years became stone—a process that makes every fossil wood sphere a genuine unique piece. With its harmonious color scheme and organic, flowing pattern, this sphere appears especially decorative and also exudes a calm, earth-connected presence. As a rarer variant among fossil woods it also has an attractive collector's value and integrates elegantly into any mineral collection. Note: The stand shown is not included in the delivery but can be purchased separately. Stone: Petrified Wood Sphere Weight: 7866,51g Size: 114mm Treatment: None Origin: Madagascar It is fossil wood dating back 200 million years, all parts from a log or branches have been silicified, meaning that organic components were little by little replaced by silicon in the form of jasper, chalcedony and more rarely opal. Without the organic parts, all the living matter was replaced by stone : there are growth rings, cell separations, almost like worm cracks. Its features are those of the mineral that would have pseudo-transformed the wood : the silicon. And that’s what we call a "petrified wood" in the common language. The disclaimer about the healing properties as previously given : It is believed that certain gemstones and minerals have beneficial health and spiritual properties.
