Natural sphalerite rough crystal - Exceptional rough...

This impressive sphalerite rough faszinates with its extraordinary transparency and the intense color effect, which especially under lighting comes to spectacular effect. Already in normal light the piece shows warm honey, amber and deep orange-brown tones with highly glossy crystal surfaces and a glassy shimmer. The natural structure consists of numerous angular crystal facets, reflections and fine internal planes, giving the piece enormous optical depth. Under transmitted light the mineral turns into a nearly glowing play of color of intense red, orange and golden fire. The translucent areas appear almost like molten lava or liquid amber, creating an exceptionally vivid radiance. Through the numerous natural fracture surfaces, countless light reflections and prismatic effects arise, making the piece appear constantly different from different viewing angles. Sphalerite is one of the most fascinating collectable minerals and is known for its high luster and strong refractive power. Very transparent pieces with such intense luminosity and aesthetic structure are highly sought after and possess a very striking presence in any mineral collection or display case. Traditionally, Sphalerite is attributed activating and strengthening energy. It symbolically stands for vitality, focus and inner strength and is often associated with motivation, creativity and energetic balance.
