Necklace - 14 kt. White gold - Diamond - Vintage

Type of jewel: Diamond necklace with a pendant centrepiece. Condition: In well-preserved condition, especially given this necklace’s age. Style: Vintage, with a symmetrical openwork design of floral and ribbon-like motifs ending in a tapering pendant drop. Era: Circa 1980. Material: 14K white gold (touchstone tested). Diamonds: 73 round brilliant-cut diamonds with an estimated combined weight of 3.27 ct (colour: F–H; clarity: VVS–VS). Diamond weights, colour and clarity are approximate, as the stones were assessed in their settings and were not removed for grading or weighing. All diamonds in this necklace were individually tested with the Magilabs' EXA Natural Diamond Detector and identified as natural diamonds. Traditional gemstone associations: Diamond is the birthstone for April and is traditionally associated with enduring love. Hallmarks: Stamped “585” and “14K”.
