Netherlands 1876/2017 - Netherlands 1876–2017 - Extensive...

Extensive Netherlands stamp collection in 7 original DAVO albums, covering 1876–2017. The collection contains regular issues, commemorative issues, miniature sheets, stamp sheets and special issues. Album I: the early period is incomplete. The collection starts with several 19th-century issues and becomes progressively more extensive. From the point shown in the photographs, the regular collection becomes largely filled, with occasional gaps. The special DAVO pages are also included and photographed separately. Condition in Album I is mixed and is therefore not described as uniformly MNH. Albums II–VII: predominantly MNH (Mint Never Hinged) and very extensively filled, continuing through 2017. How to read the photographs: The photographs have been selected systematically to show the actual scope of the collection rather than every individual album page: – for each album, photographs show representative pages and the relevant chronological range; – where a substantially filled/continuous run begins, this is shown; – any observed gaps within such a run are specifically photographed; – the end of the substantially filled/continuous run is shown; – special DAVO pages and the stamps/sheets present on them are photographed separately; – additional photographs show the albums and representative contents. This allows bidders to assess which periods are represented, the degree of completeness and the condition of the collection from the photographs. No claim is made that every catalogue-issued stamp is present unless visible in the photographs. All 7 original DAVO albums shown are included in the lot and are in good used condition. No individual catalogue numbers or catalogue value have been assigned. The photographs form an integral part of the lot description. Please examine all photographs carefully for the exact contents, completeness and condition. See pictures for your own impression. The seven albums will be carefully packed for shipment.
