etherlands 1992–2000 – Seven Thematic Guilder Coin Sets – Holland Coin Fair, Westpark and Netherlands–Japan Collection of seven Dutch thematic coin sets in their original presentation folders, bringing together royal history, Dutch numismatics, a corporate anniversary and four centuries of relations between the Netherlands and Japan. The selection includes: Netherlands Numismatic Year, 1992 Holland Coin Fair issue celebrating the centenary of the Royal Dutch Numismatic Society, founded in 1892. The illustrated folder presents a selection of Dutch coins and medals and accompanies the 1992 Dutch guilder coin set. Westpark – Fifth Anniversary, 1996 Presentation set marking the fifth anniversary of Westpark Registeraccountants and Belastingadviseurs, 1991–1996. The blue folder features the anniversary medal’s geometric design. This issue was produced for presentation to the firm’s employees and clients. Westpark – Numbered Presentation Folder with Stamp A second Westpark issue, distinguished by its numbered folder and a cancelled Dutch stamp depicting Frans Hals. King Willem II – Holland Coin Fair, 1998 From the series “Een nieuwe vorst, een nieuwe munt” — “A New Monarch, a New Coin”. The folder explores coin production during the reign of Willem II, who ruled from 1840 to 1849. The original issue contains the six Dutch circulating denominations dated 1998 and a thematic bimetallic medal. King Willem III – Holland Coin Fair, 1999 A companion issue devoted to Dutch coinage during Willem III’s reign, 1849–1890. The illustrated historical folder accompanies the six Dutch circulating denominations dated 1999 and a thematic medal. Queen Wilhelmina – Holland Coin Fair, 2000 Issued under the title “Een nieuwe vorstin, een nieuwe munt” — “A New Queen, a New Coin”. The folder features Wilhelmina’s portrait and imagery of her inauguration in 1898, while the coin set itself dates from 2000. Netherlands–Japan Year, 2000 The “Coin Collection The Netherlands–Japan Year 2000”, presented in its original sleeve combining the Dutch and Japanese flags. The issue commemorates four centuries of contact between the two countries, 1600–2000. The standard six-coin Dutch guilder series comprises: 5 cents, 10 cents, 25 cents, 1 guilder, 2½ guilders and 5 guilders. Face value per complete six-coin series: 8.90 Dutch guilders. A varied selection of Dutch pre-euro presentation sets, combining contemporary coinage with illustrated historical and commemorative themes.
