New Girl - Sarah Boisvert

New Girl by Sarah Boisvert Painting 20.0 x 20.0 :: Sarah Boisvert combines abstraction and figuration in her stunning works. Compelling edge to edge dynamics that isn’t trying to tell a tale-it is awakening in the viewer’s eye a moment of energy that can be processed in ways that are truly unique to the viewer. It has a high degree of clarity without logic-which is truthful abstraction. She plucks personal references experiences and memories to create thoroughly expressive paintings. While the human figure is there she has moved away from making portraits with distinguishable faces she paints with a specific subject in mind processing them through personal interpretations. She uses the medium of painting to record these personal feelings. Sarah’s paintings touch on themes of identity and urban alienation and are artistically reflected through a strong understanding of color and composition. Beautiful gradient hues contrast bold abstractions reminiscent of the works by European existentialists :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Modern Subject: Children & Infants Width: 20.0 Height: 20.0 Depth: 1.5 Weight: 7 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
