third quarter 19th century, attributed to the warerooms of Prudent Mallard, the molded and beaded cornice over a pair of paneled doors, opening to reveal a medial belt with two drawers, the back of aromatic red cedar, a full-width drawer below, raised on distinctive Mallard scroll bracket feet. The case in rare shallow depth, similar to that of Mallard bookcases, in untouched original surface.
