Brilliant red-orange underprint throughout composed of dozens of small hexagonal counters. Portrait of Washington at left opposite the bank title and associated guarantee text along with a large vaguely rounded counter emblazoned "1." Identical end panels at left and right emblazoned "ONE" although "ONE" is oriented in opposing directions on each panel. A total of (6) rounded POCs may be seen above the signature panels and manufacturer's imprint. This institution ultimately became the Importers and Traders National Bank (Charter# 1231) in 1865.
