Nightstand (2) - Pair of Art Deco walnut bedside tables from the 1940s

Elegant pair of Italian Art Deco-style nightstands dating from the 1940s, made of walnut wood and characterized by a sober, geometric line, typical of Italian furniture design of the period. The nightstands feature a compact and streamlined structure, with a top drawer and a lower compartment closed by a door. The doors are fitted with decorative handles and show a beautiful vertical walnut grain, enhanced by the glossy finish. Particularly distinctive are the shaped and stacked shelf-like feet, which give the furniture an elegant Art Deco reference. The slightly protruding perimeter frame and the contrast between the different grain directions complete the furniture’s aesthetics. The pair maintains a nice aesthetic and color uniformity, making it ideal for furnishing an antique bedroom or for placing it in a contemporary setting as a pair of nightstands, even beside a modern bed. They have been shellac-lacquered and show normal signs of wear due to age and use. Measurements: W 40 cm D 35 cm H 70 cm Follow me on Instagram: salottoviennese Shipping via PROFESSIONAL courier.
