The furniture is adorned with a rich **floral marquetry** decoration executed with contrasting woods, developed on the top, the front, and the sides in keeping with the taste of the finest French cabinetmaking. Each nightstand features **three shaped drawers** with a curved front, enriched by elaborate **handles and escutcheons in chased bronze**. The corners are ornamented with scenographic **female caryatids in gilded bronze**, while further decorative appliques embellish the apron and the shaped feet.
