The world’s most prestigious whisky regions, each with its unique history and climate, reveal personality traits through the Ao blend. A blend that represents nearly a century of countless Suntory challenges. "AO" means blue in Japanese and is meant to symbolize the oceans that connect the 5 countries. Suntory blends, such as Hibiki, seek harmony, unifying individual whisky personalities. Ao, though, achieves harmony at its base while layering and highlighting characteristics. The blend allows traits to manifest differently. Aromas and flavors change with temperatures and where, when and how one enjoys Ao. The box has a tear on the side - see the picture.
