Chrono Trigger is universally recognized as one of the greatest video games of all time, created by the legendary 1995 Dream Team: Yuji Horii (Dragon Quest), Hironobu Sakaguchi (Final Fantasy), and the late, great Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball), who provided the iconic character design and breathtaking artwork featured on this very box. Holding a piece of this history, complete and signed by its creator, is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. This is an original Japanese Super Famicom copy of Chrono Trigger, 100% Complete in Box (CIB), and uniquely autographed by its legendary creator, Yuji Horii. The autograph was obtained strictly in person by me during the Bergamo Comicon in 2026 (Italy). To make this piece even more extraordinary, Horii sensei kindly added a hand-drawn sketch of the iconic Dragon Quest Slime right above the Chrono Trigger logo. I have included a video proof in the gallery of this listing to guarantee the authenticity of the signature and the provenance of the item. This listing includes everything originally packaged with the game. Please review all high-resolution photos carefully. The cardboard box holds its shape very well but shows normal, expected signs of aging for a 1995 release (some minor edge wear and light natural yellowing). The front panel featuring the crisp, unsmudged signature and Slime sketch is remarkably clean. The Super Famicom cartridge is in excellent condition. Both front and back labels are clean, intact, and well-preserved. It comes with its original plastic baggie. The original instruction manual is included and is in fantastic, crisp condition. The original plastic inner tray, the green safety warning slip, and the promotional flyer (featuring Tamori/Picross) are all included and beautifully preserved. Please note that the game is completely UNTESTED. It is being sold strictly as a rare collector's display piece. While the cartridge and pins are visibly in great condition, I cannot guarantee its functionality.
