No reserve-Grote en zware zilveren miniatuur mannen in...

Rare large and heavy hand-made Dutch silver miniature in the shape of a sawmill. The miniature is exceptionally beautiful in form and very detailed, handmade. The whole is manually equipped with many charming details such as: a man at a workbench with a plane, two men at work by a large wooden post, hammer and chisel in hand, very detailed tools and workbenches, a worked-on base and much more (too much to mention). The miniature is, as it should be, fully Dutch-approved and marked with Dutch silver hallmarks: - Fineness mark Lion with II = silver fineness 835/1000 (second fineness) - Guarantee office hallmark the Minerva head with the letter M = Schoonhoven. - Year letter r = 1977 - Master mark HH from one of the Netherlands’ best-known silversmiths H. Hooijkaas. Was active as a silversmith in Schoonhoven. It is a large, robust miniature; dimensions are 7.5 by 3.5 cm. Its weight of 52.4 grams makes it quite heavy for a miniature. Overall, for its age of 49 years, it is in extraordinarily beautiful, pristine and complete condition. This splendid rare handmade Dutch silver miniature stands out as a striking and exceptionally decorative object thanks to its size, its graceful form, the detailed workmanship, and the many details. Carefully packed and insured shipping.
