Curated collection of antique, vintage and modern rugs No Reserve - Pair of Vintage Persian Silk Qum Rugs - Size: 2 ft 6 in x 1 ft 11 in (0.76 m x 0.58 m) Provenance: Property of a Nashville collector A finely woven pair of silk Qum rugs with jewel-like coloration and intricate medallion designs. The silk pile reflects light differently from each direction, causing the colors and details to appear to shift subtly as the viewer moves around them. Their complementary compositions and compact scale make them ideal for a symmetrical display or as a pair of related textile artworks. Offered without reserve. Condition Request Condition Report Lot #583, both rugs are very good condition. The pile in all of them are full and even, with no visible signs of wear. All ends are original and complete and hand-secured. The sides are securely finished. There are no dryness in their foundation. All rugs are clean and floor-ready.
