Tyrannosaurus rex, often referred to as T-Rex, is one of the most well-known and iconic dinosaur species that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 68 to 66 million years ago. T-Rex was a carnivorous predator, feeding on other dinosaurs and potentially scavenging on carcasses as well.
