All auctions / Porcelain & Pottery / NO RESERVE PRICE - Capodimonte - Sculpture
Refined and scenographic sculptural group in fine multicolored porcelain, intricately worked and hand-painted, crafted in the most classical figurative and allegorical tradition of Capodimonte. The composition depicts two delightful winged putti immersed in an evocative bucolic setting. On the left, a standing putto supports a finely detailed cello with visible wood grain, while on the right the second putto sits on a rocky ledge, playing a transverse flute. At their feet completes the scene a lively black-and-white spotted goat. The entire sculpture is enriched with exuberant naturalistic decoration characterized by lush grape clusters and vine tendrils in violet and green tones. All of it rests on an elegant oval-shaped base, adorned with decorative geometric motifs and gold-edged borders. The work stands out for the high quality of the plastic modeling and the great attention to detail, clearly visible in the expressive rendering of the faces, the definition of the curls, the shading of the flesh tones, and the plumage of the wings. The photos are an integral part of the description. The item will be packed with utmost care and professionalism to ensure safe delivery. The shipment will be tracked and insured. We ship worldwide. Any customs duties or import taxes outside the EU are the purchaser's responsibility.
